Greetings,

How can we best help children with challenges?

The same movements that help human beings develop the brain and body naturally
in infancy--primitive reflexes--are effective for children with learning challenges!

I love this research because it demonstrates that primitive reflex movements facilitate
development, which in turn can help with a whole set of symptoms. This 2017 study
involves 104 school-age children with learning difficulties, an experimental and control
group, and numerous tests done before and after 12-14 months of reflex integration.

What were the results?
The reflex integration movements were ". . . particularly effective in the case of children
exhibiting a whole set of symptoms along with learning difficulties, problems with
concentration, weak emotion control, weak motor development, abnormal muscle tension,
weak motor coordination."*

If you are not already helping children develop in leaps and bounds with the Brain and Sensory Foundations course, join now! Get playful reflex integration activities and the all-important innate rhythmic movements--plus many more tools that enhance reflex integration and take the stress out of goals.

Best wishes,
Sonia
