April 2020, Newsletter #2

Greetings,

I am sharing some of my experience dealing with grief in the hopes that this will be helpful to you.

Many of us are feeling disoriented, sad, or fearful (and are perhaps reeling) from the topsy-turvy changes going on in our world. One thing we may not have learned to do well in our go-go-do-do-culture is to stop and take the time to feel and grieve our losses.

I know when I push grief (or fear) away, my life becomes chaotic and then I cannot be as present for life's joys. I have learned the hard way to pay attention to grief because if I do not, more trouble comes my way.

So while we seem to be in the midst of a whole human "reset" or "wake up call" we can consciously choose to witness and feel our losses and fears, as painful as it may be.

The more we embrace and feel our painful feelings, the more easily we will MOVE through them.

This is a movement newsletter after all. And whether you are moving your body, mind, or emotions, I invite you to trust, feel all of your feelings, and join me in opening to grace and transformation as we all evolve together.

Now on to rejoicing! I am happy to share the mind-blowing case study here and these awe-inspiring neuro-movements, so THANK YOU for being here.

And if you have not yet joined the Brain and Sensory Foundations course but would like to, now is the time! See the special offers below. Open enrollment and the special offers below are valid through April 30, 2020.

Best wishes,

Amazing Improvement in Self-Regulation,
Controlling Anxiety, and Fine-Motor Skills!
Read this inspiring case study about a mom and OT* who used
the movements from the Brain and Sensory Foundations First Level
course with her 4-year-old son. This little boy went from coping with
extreme meltdowns and struggles with sleep, fine motor skills, and
more to exhibiting better self-regulation, sleeping through the night,
and much improved drawing ability.

Check out the Functional Nutrition and Learning for Kids podcast, with Vaishnavi Sarathy, Ph.D., Functional Nutrition Practitioner

I discuss how rhythmic movement can mature the cerebellum, and how integrating retained reflexes can mature the brainstem for excellent benefits.

Vaishnavi also has a wonderful TEDx talk you can listen to here called, "Who Decides How Smart You Are?"
