Greetings,

Did you know that working with the Spinal Galant reflex* may help with
sensory challenges, fidgeting,bed-wetting, and irritable bowel issues?

The amazing Spinal Galant reflex is activated by tactile input on the back. The
sensitive area of the back for eliciting the Spinal Galant reflex closely follows
part of the bladder meridian, so that may be why integration of Spinal Galant
reflex often seems to help with toilet training and bed-wetting issues.

For a healthy newborn, when the Spinal Galant reflex is stimulated on
one side, the pelvis on the same side tilts upward toward the head
while the shoulder on the same side tips downward in the typical
Spinal Galant "C-curve" that you see in the baby drawing here.

As infants, we need the Spinal Galant reflex to help us with birthing and development. But if this reflex
remains active past toddlerhood, it can be a hindrance resulting in bed-wetting, bowel issues,
excessive fidgeting, fatigue, sensory challenges, and scoliosis. There is research showing that
irritable bowel syndrome in adults is associated with an unintegrated Spinal Galant reflex.**

Below are two of our many success stories showing how innate movements can help with toilet i
ssues.

Best wishes!
Sonia

Can innate sensory-motor activities provide increased
brain maturity and help reduce ADHD symptoms?

Huge numbers of children and adults live with the symptoms
of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Research evidence shows that ADHD symptoms are
associated with motor challenges and with sensory
processing challenges. Research also shows that the
brains of individuals with ADHD are less developed than
the brains of individuals who do not have these symptoms.

Join Sonia Story for this engaging one-hour talk to explore
the rationale and supporting evidence for using innate
sensory-motor tools to help overcome ADHD symptoms.
