This 2-day course looks at the crucial role the reflex system plays in reading and writing difficulties. We continue the understanding of the impact of Rhythmic Movement Training™ and how it can help with academic skills like reading and writing.
We learn how our reading and writing ability is affected by various factors such as our vision, our ability to recognize the sounds of language, and our motor ability. The tools are excellent for parents and caregivers of children with special needs or anyone interested in optimizing their potential.
About the Instructor
Moira Dempsey is the co-founder with Dr. Harald Blomberg, of Rhythmic Movement Training International. She has been learning and teaching RMT since 2003, when she met Dr. Harald Blomberg in Poland at Dr Svetlana Masgutova’s camp for children with special needs. Moira has been involved with Brain Gym® since 1991. She is also a Touch For Health instructor. Moira Dempsey has taught RTM in Australia, USA, Europe, Asia and Africa. Moira Dempsey mentors those wishing to become RMT instructors around the world.
